MRI (fMRI) Software
All of the links below point to popular (and mostly respected) software that is used for processing, analyzing, and displaying MRI (fMRI) data. This software is free for academic research purposes.
- AFNI/SUMA - From the National Institute of Mental Health. Runs on Unix+X11+Motif systems.
- SPM - MATLAB software package from the Wellcome Department of Imaging Neuroscience at University College London.
- FSL - Runs on Apple, PCs (Linux and Windows) and Sun. 'Tis from the University of Oxford's FMRIB Centre.
- FreeSurfer - available for Linux and Mac OS X operating systems. Brought to you by CorTechs and the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Bioimedical Imaging at Harvard University.
